Speedwitness PCVideo is a video based traffic speed camera system from Speedwitness family; the next generation “Video Photo-Radar” traffic camera system. The PCV captures speeding offences using a high resolution 800x600 30fps camera combined with a radar or laser speed sensor. The tape less system records multimedia digital video and speeding data on a P4 class micro PC hard drive. Up to 130 hours of compressed video can be recorded on the PC before it is off loaded on an integrated CD. The camera can be equipped with x8 ~ 16 zoom lens; live or recorded images are displayed on a collapsible large 15” XVGA color LCD screen. Recorded video images are tagged with captured speed data plus time can be recalled instantly; using an integrated touch pad. “Gotchu” live or back office citation issuance software automatically interfaces with Speedwitness PCV to process and print citations; live data transfer to central location is available.
